to the town of Fira and the port (14 km) by bus, as well

is by taxi. Three kilometres away, at an average altitude
of 350 metres, one will find Ancient Thera (Mesa Vouno),
to the east of the Prophitis Ilias monastery.

the 1956 earthquake, is the church of Panagia tis
Episkopis, which was built in 1115 and is the most
